Last month it was MD Matt’s turn, and today it’s Director Liam North’s turn to sit in the hot seat! Liam has worked at Butlers for nearly 12 years and has become an integral part of team so we thought we’d dig a little deeper to find out what makes him tick!
What’s your favourite thing about working at Butlers?
The technical variety of work we undertake is always an interesting challenge.
What’s the most unusual job or enquiry you’ve received while working at Butlers?
Being asked to help pluck a partridge while at a customer’s house!
How do you like to relax?
I like to spend any spare time playing golf or fishing, although can’t remember the last time I did either.

Where do you last go on holiday?
If you were stranded on a desert island, what three items would you want with you?
Sun glasses, sun cream, crate of beer.
Do you have a nickname?
Friends called me Northy at school years ago.
Name one thing on your bucket list.
Have a dinner party with Gal Gadot, Noel Gallagher and Will Ferrell or travel some of Australia.
If you were an electrical item what would you be and why?
A fridge freezer – because I’m told I’m pretty cooool!
What’s the most unusual electrical item you’ve installed?
I was asked to design and install 80’s disco lighting for a farmer’s birthday in a grain store which was unusual for me to do, however very fun!
