Butlers Bioenergy division can install and maintain associated electrical and mechanical systems for Anaerobic Digestion Plants. Our dedicated engineer has extensive experience and expertise in the AD sector in both this country and overseas. Previous UK installs by our engineer include the design of the electrical systems for plants at Carrington, Nocton and North Hykeham in Lincolnshire. This included the design of the main distribution systems (3500A), the Atex zones and safety zones and the cable routes and containment designs. He also wrote the manuals and assisted with the HMI design (Touch screen interface for the control panels), as well as commissioning these sites and carrying out the G59 tests for connection to the National Grid.
As a company we have experience and knowledge of most PLC control systems employed in this sector including Siemens, Alan Bradley and Wago (Codesys). We are familiar with Siemens S71500 PLCs with decentral using Profinet and Profibus.
Butlers can provide maintenance contracts and reactive maintenance / break down services for this industry and can install additions to the plant in accordance with relevant regulations specific to this industry. As such we produce CAD drawings of alterations and maintain records to meet with the strict compliance requirements.
We can now offer a bespoke service to owners and managers of these plants throughout the UK.
